Top 5 Athletes or Top 50% Qualify for CNL Stage 2
5 minutes per athlete
Each course will have up to 8 obstacles to test your upper body, lower body, and balance.
Athletes can use one retry on any failed obstacle. However, if you complete all the obstacles without a retry, a bonus point is granted.
Your score for each course is determined by points gained and time to finish the run.
Points are the highest priority when determining your final score with time being the second priority.
If your time runs out before completing the final obstacle, your final time is reverted to the time at the last obstacle you completed or failed.
More points with faster times move you up the leaderboard.

Qualify for UNAA World Finals
Course Area 1, Age Groups/Run Order: 7U, 9U, 11U
Course Area 2, Age Groups/Run Order: 13U, 15U, Masters, Amateur, Professional
Top 5 Athletes
Each obstacle will be worth 1 point for full completion, however, for more difficult obstacles, each obstacle can be worth 2 points and will have a halfway point, which will be clearly marked.
Your score for each course is determined by points gained, and time of full run. Points are the highest priority when determining final score with time being the second priority. Most points, with fastest time wins!
Your time will end with last obstacle completed. If your time runs out before completing the final obstacle, your final time is reverted to the time at the last obstacle you completed.
If an athlete fails 3 obstacles, that concludes their run. You may finish the course but will not receive a score for the remaining obstacles.

Fitset Ninja participates and hosts competitions in two different ninja leagues, the Canadian Ninja League (CNL), and the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA).
CNL is the governing body in Canada for ninja; they host nationals and define the rules that most competitions in Canada run under. From CNL nationals you can qualify for a world’s event, run by the National Ninja League (NNL) in the United States.
UNAA also hosts a world's event in the States. Many gyms run UNAA events as well as CNL ones; the difference (besides some rule differences) is there are no nationals in Canada for UNAA.

We would be forever grateful if you took some time out of your schedule to lend some time supporting your Ninja Community!
We have many positions including First Aid, Check-in, Course Setup, Course Resetter, Coordinator, and Crowd Control. All volunteers receive free food and drinks, plus the gratitude of every Ninja all weekend!

Competition Booking
The registration deadline has now passed
Please register each athlete separately and ensure that you register for the correct competition and age group. If you’d like to register for both the CNL competition (Saturday Feb 18th) and the UNAA competition (Sunday Feb 19th), please register for each one separately.
Please note that the CNL and UNAA require slightly different registration info, and have slightly different competition age categories.
For both leagues, the age category is determined by the athletes age as of January 1st, 2023.
For the CNL competition, athletes must have a NinjaWorks ID and must have purchased a CNL season 4 membership prior to registering for the competition. Athletes who register for the CNL competition without having a CNL season 4 membership will not be eligible for qualification to future CNL Stage 2 competitions.
