FINA x Fitset Ninja – Official Season VII Speed Qualifier

Fitset Ninja is thrilled to host an official FINA Speed Qualifier in Calgary, designed for ninja speedsters who love to push the limits and race against the clock!

Whether you’re a young up-and-comer starting at age 6, a seasoned competitor in Masters (40+), or anywhere in between—this is your chance to rise to the challenge under official FINA rules.

🏁 Event Format – Speed Course

  • Each athlete faces 8 obstacles, battling the clock for a top performance.

  • Can you complete the course before the buzzer? Only the fastest will earn their Speed Finisher Badge and secure a spot at the Speed Sectionals.

Three ways to qualify for FINA Season VII Speed Sectionals:

  1. Successfully complete all 8 obstacles at this FINA Speed event before the clock runs out — earn your Speed Finisher Badge and automatic entry to Speed Sectionals.

  2. Finish top 3 in your division at this or any FINA Speed competition, regardless of total score — you’re through!

  3. Earn Speed points for every obstacle completed before time runs out. Collect 21 points across the season to punch your ticket to Speed Sectionals.

The top finishers at FINA Speed Sectionals will earn a trip to the FINA Speed Final Summer 2026 to find out who is FINA’s FASTEST NINJA!
Specific details about qualifying for FINA Finals will be shared later in the season.

  • We're hosting a FINA Season VII Qualifier competition!

    Saturday, Feb 07 (FINA Season VII Qualifier)

    🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
    📍 Location: Fitset Ninja Calgary

    • Registration closes on Feb 5th

      ** Subject to change upon final course design.

  • Our upcoming competition will follow the official Federation of International Ninja Athletes (FINA) Season VII rules. These include detailed guidelines on course structure, athlete eligibility, scoring, what constitutes a fail, and overall athlete conduct.

    To ensure a fair and consistent experience for all athletes, please review the full FINA rules, including important updates for Speed, Endurance, and Ninja vs. Ninja formats.

  • We would be forever grateful if you took some time out of your schedule to lend some time supporting your Ninja Community!

    We have many positions including First Aid, Check-in, Course Setup, Course Resetter, Coordinator, and Crowd Control. All volunteers receive free food and drinks, plus the gratitude of every Ninja all weekend!

  • Spectators are welcome to join us in person throughout the competition! Please respect the marked boundaries and listen to the Fitset Ninja staff and volunteers at all times to ensure you're not interfering with other athletes during their run!

    • Yes! For first time visitors to Fitset Ninja, we encourage you to fill out the waiver ahead of time.

  • We are not able to offer refunds for any cancellations.

    We can offer “credit on file” for your purchase until Feb 02, 2026, but no refund. Past this date, no “credit on file” will be offered. For cancellations and to use your credit, please email us at hello@fitsetninja.com. We can not take these requests verbally.
